Just purchased 2010 VW CC yesterday. After getting home we went out again and check engine light came on. autozone diagnostic said code P2187 was showing up and gave a long list of potential sources. Today more lights came up and Autozone said it showed Code 2187 and cylinder misfire.
JA: Does the light stay on, or does it blink?
Customer: Stayed on yesterday, blinking this morning, then stayed on as we drove along to Autozone.
JA: Are you fixing your CC yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We are just doing simple trouble shooting ourself right now. The auto zone report said to replace the crankcase pressure regulating valve but we tested it to see if it was working by removing the oil cap and placing paper on it to see if pressure was being sucked in and it was.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Just be sure he knows there are other lights on such as traction control

just diagnose and fix them. Also understand that I can't see, smell, hear, or touch the
