Customer Question

My car jerks in the first few gears when accelerating and also in the same gears when decelerating. I also have a code P1060 for the map sensor, found oil all over the map senor and cleaned it off and replaced the PCV valve diaphragm. Car ran fine for a few days but then had the jerking again and more oil plus code P1060, I replaced the valve again but the problem has resurfaced. The car runs just fine at the higher gears.
JA: Do you have a scan tool to read the codes?
Customer: Yes I do, the only code that has serviced is the P1060
JA: What is the model/year of your VW?
Customer: surfaced
JA: What year is your VW?
Customer: 2012 Jetta SE
JA: Are you fixing your Jetta yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, just the valve so far, I have been trying to figure it out the past few weeks.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I was gone the past 6 months but the problem has been around for a year, had a mechanic last September check my transmission when I had the fluid for it changed and he said it looked great, my car currently has 63,000 miles on it.
