Ok, What position is the key stuck in - OFF, ACC, RUN ?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
stuck in ignition, moves freely but drains battery
Expert:  Eric replied 11 months ago.

So it will turn to the off position but not come out, correct. This is either a very worn key or sticking tumblers. Turn to off position and use a hammer to GENTLY tap around the ignition cylinder as you pull the key out - this usually works like a charm

Ok, the only other thing I know to do would be to replace the lock cylinder and key. I will open this up to other experts to see if any know of a way to free the key
