Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Heat doesn't work and I need a new fuse box and alternator harness
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
They said the stop leak built up and they can flush the system
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
But may start leaking
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
they said about 700 dollars
Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 10 months ago.

that has nothing to do with the no reverse problem

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
But then they said they think its the transmission going bad
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Year I know I'm just saying
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Yeah*
Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 10 months ago.

ok.

that is possible for the transmission to be bad,,but, from the way you explain the no reverse when cold problem,,sounds as if the transmission filter is clogged and the cold thick fluid doesnt go through it well..

Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 10 months ago.

when it heats up,the fluid gets much thinner and gos through the clogged filter better, this is why it works after it warms a while

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Year I asked about the filter
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
He said no? That it would be bad to change the fluid may make the transmission go bad faster?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Thinking maybe take it to another mechanic?
Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 10 months ago.

no,it isnt possible that changing the filter would make the transmission go bad faster,,changing the filter is the best thing you can ever do for an automatic
