I locked my keys in the trunk and I can not get it the trunk to open
JA: Have you tried silicone spray or WD-40?
Customer: No
JA: What is the model/year of your VW?
Customer: 2003 jetta
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I would like to fix it myself, I have tried to open the trunk with the latch in the driver side door and I have also tried to get into the trunk through the back seat with no success
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Yes I can not open my gas tank door either the latch in the drivers door is broken

With the rear seatback removed it should open up to the trunk. I see that you said you tried to get in through the back seat but did not elaborate. Were you not actually able to remove the seat back?
