Hi there,

Does the security light stay on solid when it runs for a bit?
Also, how long will it actually stay running?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it starts but won't stay running for more than a few seconds. Maybe 15 seconds. Not sure about security light.

Try unplugging the mass air flow sensor. If the car will start and idle on it's own, then this should indicate that it's the problem.

If not, please let me know.

will let you know. cant get to it until tomorrow

No problem and have a nice night.

went out this morning and now the battery is dead again. just clicks when i try to turn it over. i think the first problem is something is draining the battery. it was charged fully when i put it in there.

Well a parasitic drain is pretty impossible to determine here on the forum as to where it is.

Check and make sure there isn't a trunk light and or engine compartment light. If there is, take the bulbs out. Also, make sure the battery itself is good. It might not be able to hold a charge.
