On my 2005 Jetta with 2.0 engine. The A/C fades in and out. I had put a new compressor and the problem still there. Any suggestion?

It could be a temp sensor problem. You need an ac manifold gauge set to check the pressures. Could be a pressure switch problem or an expansion valve. System could be over or under charged.

You need to read pressures. Also need a high end scan tool to check for codes in the HVAC module. You can use a scan tool to read live temp sensor data as well.

Dan, Thank you for responding. The issue is when the car is idling the a/c starts to blow warm air as the engine RPM goes up over 2000 with the car stationary the air gets cold. What would you say is the problem?
