JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: replace the RCV
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: not that I can think of. VCDS'd and I have a the following code: 00819 HP sensor open or short to ground

that error code relates to a problem with the high pressure sensor on the AC refrigerant line

you say that you've replaced the RCV? which I'm assuming is the receiver vessel

was the high pressure sensor plugged back in after this work was done?
