Trying to tow my VW Tiguan from Seattle WA to Boise ID using a uhaul Two dolly, the rear wheels locked up and tired started burning, how do we do this with no further issues?

If the vehicle was front wheel drive only then you could tow it with the front wheels on a dolly but I'm assuming that it's all wheel drive, in which case it couldn't be towed in this way.

What year is the vehicle?

Is it all wheel/four wheel drive?
