My Fob is damaged on my 2010 golf wagon 2.5 and my car alarm

Customer Question

My Fob is damaged on my 2010 golf wagon 2.5 and my car alarm will not shut off. I pulled my horn fuse which stopped the audible alarm but my four ways are still flashing after the engine has shut off. What can I do on a Sunday with dealerships closed to prevent my battery from being drained completely. Is there a fuse and/or a process that completely disables the car alarm while still allowing me to drive the car?

Is the metal physical part of the key damaged where you can't put it into the cylinder in the door??
