Customer Question

2006 vw beetle convertible 2.5. I have a lot of oil leaking from the oil filter adapter where it mounts to the block. How hard is this to replace and what do I need to do it.

hello im mike the repair manual states to removed front bumper and core support, but I found all you need to do is take the 2 16mm bolts out of the center mount and tie the engine back. then its pretty easy to access the bolts for the flange. once the bolts are out and disconnect the breather hose and coolant hose from the cooler. it will come right out
