Volkswagen Jetta GLS: Changed the coil pack plugs wires alternator

Customer Question

Changed the coil pack plugs wires alternator cam shaft position stumbling to start???

Your year should not have an alternator- so I don't know what you replaced there.
If the vehicle does start and run, is there a clatter noise at idle or just off idle from the engine? Given the age, I would assume that the timing chain guides will have broken by now and may be throwing the timing off slightly, or at the very least causing slight timing issues and noise
