Volkswagen Beetle: Dan,I have a 2001 VW Beatle, Engine

Customer Question

I have a 2001 VW Beatle, Engine Code AZG. I'm getting trouble codes 17549,16684,16686, 16688, 16705 and 17521. The coil pack is 3 years old and the O2 sensor and MAF sensor are 4 months old. Am I looking in the right direction with these parts or am I straying away from the real issue?

sounds like front O2 sensor, the crank speed sensor (16705) and possibly the MAF (17549, misfire codes) If you have a scan tool that reads data it would be good to know the MAF fuel adjustment short and long term %.
