Volkswagen Beetle GLS TDI: Daughter has a 2001 VW Beetle a/c

This answer was rated:

Daughter has a 2001 VW Beetle a/c just stopped working when driving freon is full, now when engine gets hot and the radiator fan kicks in starts to cool when fan shuts off gets hot again?

Hello I'm Neal and I am here to help resolve your issue. If I cannot help I will opt out and refer your question to another expert.

The condenser cooling fan should always be on when the a/c is on. If it is not, then the condenser fan is bad. Or it is not being told to come on as it should. I would start by testing the condenser fan. Let me know what you find and we will go from there.
