Hello, thank you for choosing Just Answer. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will answer your Jetta CCA for a stock battery question.

I just happen to have a 2008 battery (same as '09) waiting to go to the recycler. It is rated at 640 CCA. For whatever that is worth.

Realistically, if you are replacing your battery, the quality of the battery is more important than a lot of CCAs. Anything 600+ would do just fine, but I would stick with known name brands and batteries with long warranties. These German cars rely heavily on strong batteries, so they need to have them to be reliable. I personally run Interstate in my BMW.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Best Regards,
