Have you checked the faults in the ECM ?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
i don't have tool to check faults / don't have no check engine light on / i drove in deep snow and had snow packed in the front thats when it started having the problem snow has long since melted out
Expert:  vwtech0405 replied 6 years ago.
Ok even if you don't have a light on there are silts stored in the ECM
You may have a issue with the fan control module which is made into the big main fan or you may also have a issue with the coolant temp sensor if front but to know for sure you need to check the faults in the ECM . I hope this helps .
