1974 vw super beetle: a horn..wiring..steering column..fuse box

Resolved Question:

I am going to install a horn in my 1974 vw super beetle. The car did not have any wiring for the horn. Does one of the wires go to the steering column and the other goes to the fuse box? If not, where do they go.

That's right or you can relay it but that's the easiest. Find a fuse that's empty or get an inline fuse from the parts store and run one side to the horn, run the other side (the ground wire) up the steering column and that's what grounds the horn and activates it.
