How to change all sets of CV joints rubber boots (inner and outer)

If you don't have airtools loosen the lug nuts, remove the wheel center caps, and loosen the axle nut before getting the car off the ground.

1. Jack front of car up and put on jackstands
2. Remove front wheels
3. Remove the axle nut on the outer edge (it's a 28mm on our cars in the US)
4. Remove the inner axle bolts, there's 6 on each axle they are either 8 or 10mm triple square bolts. The bits for this are available at any good autoparts store in the tool section.
5. Loosen the nut that holds the tie rod end into the knuckle, and the loosen the lock nut that locks the end in place (clearly visible right at the end).
6. Hit the tie rod end upwards with a hammer and it'll pop free.
7. Unscrew the tie rod end from the tierod, count the number of turns so you can put the other one in the same position when you're done that way it's at least driveable to the alignment shop.
8. Remove the three 13mm bolts from the bottom ball joint to the control arm.
9. You can now use a punch to hit the axle into the knuckle and pop it free.
10. Swing the whole knuckle and strut away and remove the axle from the car.
11. Cut the clamps off the boots, the inner joint will just pull out, the outer joint you have to hit it off the axle, it's splined and there's a clip that holds it in place.
12. Clean out the CV joints with carb cleaner, reinstall joints, boots, and then put grease into the boots and clamp them down.
13. Put it all back together and go get an alignment. Torque on inner axle bolts is 60 newton meters, hammer the outer nut on with your impact gun (if you want the torque spec I can get it but nobody torques these so I don't know it off the top of my head).
