where is the fuse box located in a 2008 vw jetta for radio

where is the fuse box located in a 2008 vw jetta for radio the radio wont turn on

The fuse box is located on the left hand side of the dash. With the door open on the far left you will see a cover. pry this cover off to revel the fuse panel. Although there is no fuse for the radio there. The only radio fuse in the the box under the hood (fuse panel B). It is fuse 8, 15amp.

You likely have another problem. What exactly doesnt work on the radio or does it just not turn on? At the dealer we have been having some very difficult problems with the infotainment can bus system. Some that have taken days to diagnose with the help of VW engineers and regional technician managers. Depending on what is exactly going on with your radio this is something that may be impossible to diagnose.

Please reply back with what is the defect with the radio.

Thank you

the radio wont turn on at all
Ok. Like stated above. You could have some very in depth problems. It could be something as simple as a defective radio, which cannot be determined without a VW specific scan tool. I suspect you have some deeper problem. Since the vehicle is under warranty, I suggest you visit the dealer for best results.
