Do you need to know the wiring on the Alternator only?

yes just the alternator
Very simple. Run a 10 gauge wire from the alternator directly to the battery. Now you need a light to excite the alternator into charging. The best thing is the original dash light. Run a wire (green if poss) to the light on the dash. The wire will act as the ground on the system. Or if you want to put an idiot light anywhere run the green wire to the bulb ground side. run a wire from the ignition to the bulb. When you turn the light on the alt will act as a ground and the light will shine. When you start the car, the small current feedback of the bulb will excite the alternator to charging and kick the light out.
