It depends if you have a type 3 1600cc pancake engine or a type 2 bus engine. The type 3 will fit but the type 2 which could be 1700,1800, or 2000 cc would require building some sort of engine mounts for the rear crossmember. The engine is just too heavy. It must have rear supports.. It can be used but most dune buggy guys put regular bug engines in for simplicity. You would also need a type 2 transmission.
