Hello and welcome to Just, Super mechanic here. About your vehicle.

The Emergency Flasher Switch is Integrated with the Flasher Relay.

Switches in center of instrument panel, removing and installing

Removing and installing is the same procedure for all switches, only the hazard warning light switch -E3- is described here.

The switch must be removed together with the connected wiring from the instrument panel in order to disconnect the connector.

Special tools and equipment
Wood or plastic wedge

  • Protect instrument panel and adjacent switches with adhesive tape if necessary.

  • Press in adjacent switch and carefully pry out switch using flat plastic wedge or screwdriver.
  • Release connections and disconnect electrical connection.

  • Connect electrical connection.
  • Insert switch into mounting and engage properly.

the new part i received from the parts store looks nothing like what I pulled out of the switch panel. Can you show me what is supposed to look like?
Expert:  Jerry replied 8 years ago.

This is what some parts stores have for the flasher. However, it is actually built into the hazard light switch.

This is where the hazard light switch is, you will want to get it from the dealer
