VerifiedGood Afternoon, my name is ***** ***** ill be helping you, so sorry to hear about the issues here on the S40, i know issues with corrosion can be frustrating especially when they begin to affect the main fuse box like we had here. Now in the case of your vehicle here, the ECM would need re-initializing, most Volvos of this era do in fact, unfortunately this is something that would need to be done at the dealer, unless you have a Volvo specific shop near you that has access to that equipment needed to do this. let me know if you have any further questions, im here to help!
