Water is leaking onto the floor on the front driver side of my 2009 XC70. Meredith Volvo says the leak is from the windshield, and Safelight in Tilton says it's not the glass it's a clogged drain in the sun roof. What do I do???

Mechanic's Assistant: What part of the Volvo is the leak coming from? And are you sure it's water?

Yes, definitely water, and quite a bit of it. Windshield is tight - no movement. I need to determine where the leak is coming from.

Have always taken the car to Lovering in Meredith for work and routine service. Safelight mgr. poured water into drain areas on both sides of the windshield, and water only drained out on the left side.

Just that I really need to fix the problem before the next rain.Safelight mgr says he will reseal the windshield if I want him too, but in his experience the sunroof has been the problem.

Don't know how to refresh! Just need to have the leak stopped ASAP, but don't want to wind up doing both wind shield and sunroof if only one is the problem.
