Enclosed is a picture of the only fitting without a cover that I put a cover over, and on a brief drive seems to be working fine! This seems to be a small electrical pump? mounted on drivers side wheel area in engine compartment. Any ideas on what this is? and what I did?
That looks to be a vacuum pump or switching device. If you were able to put a cover over that port and the brief drive seemed to be o.k. then I recommend to check and see if any vacuum hoses are found to be hanging down around that port you plugged to see if anything came off that has to be reinstalled or repaired.
