Hi my volvo2010 s40 redesign...
Hi my volvo2010 s40 redesign battery died tryed to start with jump leads message comes up imoblised try start again with key but nothing happens when I do put new battery in still same message please any advice

Lets try a mster reset and we go from there ,read below how

Master reset Procedure

1- Disconnect Battery Cables ( Negative & Positive Cables )you can use any electrical wire as an extension if battery cables don't reach .

2- Hold cables Together for 60 secs ,then let go

3- Wait 30 minutes

4- Make sure all doors are closed

5- Reconnect battery Cables

6- Lock & unlock the vehicles using the key from driver door side (if you have a key fob with no blade key, just lock & unlock using the key fob buttons)

7- Enter the vehicle and attempt to start

lets start here and we go from there

Hi there I done what you told me it still the same wont start same message imobalised start again with key any thing else i can try

It will need to be scanned using Volvo scanner or equivalent to read imbolizer module and get fault codes and based on them we can pull a pinpoint test and be accurate or we will be guessing, we have several systems involved here, if locks not working, hood switch , footswitch , trunk switch, receiver , antenna , key fob etc
If you get me faults post them back herd and I can help further

Will i was trying to avoid paying for that because it will cost me a lot of money so will I still get charged for this service

I understand but it needs a scanner or it's a guess
