I have a 2001 v40. Mechanic just installed 2 new front

Customer Question

Hi. I have a 2001 v40. Mechanic just installed 2 new front axles, timing belt, water pump, ext cam pulley, and serpentine belt.
Now the steering feels extremely stiff and doesn't go so easily back to center as it did.
Could something be too tight?

open the hood and look and see if the belt did not came off the power steering pump pulley
