Customer Question

I have a Volvo with a built in CD player . I am taking a trip with grandchildren and can't make it work.
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix with Volvo. The Volvo Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: I put in a cd in and it played but I can't remove it.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: Great! What have you tried so far?
Customer: Find a button or something that will have it come out. I have no instructions .
JA: Is there anything else the Volvo Mechanic should be aware of about your Volvo?
Customer: It is an XC90 2008 model year
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Volvo Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

There are no less than "3" TECH Bulletins for this issue.
These Units have problems with the CD being stuck & about all a customer can do is press Eject & "carefully" insert a flat thin blade to raise or lower the stuck CD while it is ejecting.
Otherwise Repair or Replace is needed for the Mechanism, as the arms bend when the CD is trying to Eject & does not come out.
