The rear camera on my 2012 Volvo XC60 either has a jumpy

Customer Question

The rear camera on my 2012 Volvo XC60 either has a jumpy image or does not work at all (blue screen) when the outside temperature is 85 degrees and above. It works perfectly if the temperature is in the 60's. What could cause this...?

Hello, I thought I would try and help as it seems you have been waiting.

I've been doing some reading, it would seem there are a few technical service bulletins about the camera performance and various websites where people discuss their experiences.

Reading through, it seems the most common consensus is the wiring from the control module, I believe under the seat, through to the camera in the rear of the car.

People describe the same problems and symptoms as you are having.

Rather than retype what is already well written in a clearer format, I will include the most useful link I have found during my research.

I hope this helps you, if so please rate five stars :)
