2004 Volvo S80---right side headlights are all out. All

Customer: On a couple occsions in previous months the headlight would flicker off...on one occasion I did have to replace a fuse

Note that these are not the easy to replace headlights.....The entire headlight assembly must be removed.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

Bulbs are the most common cause of headlamps not working but the low and high beam bulbs would be unlikely to fail at exactly the same time. It does happen occasionally though. You may be missing ground to both bulbs, both bulbs share the same ground circuit.

Did you actually find one of the headlamp fuses was blown previously?

Turns out my Mechanic replaced a Blown High Beam and then everything worked again.
This particular year and models layout did not match the schematics,drawins, illustrations either online or in the owners and/or repair manual.
