Hi I'm Kevin is this the cap on the top of tank ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I can not figure out how to get it loose. Looks like it probably has a o-ring
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 year ago.

The plastic ring round the top needs to be undone it's like a big nut . Once off its recommended to change this and the seal

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
How do I get it loose. I have been taping on it and trying to unscrew. It's breaking the littletter tabs from the nut. Is there a trick or something
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 year ago.

There are tools for this but I tend to use a blunt screw driver or reachet extension bar and tap it round with a rubber mallet

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Are you sure there is no lock or anything. I am beating the crap out of it and it is not moving. Do not want to destroy the tank
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 year ago.

No lock the arenormally tight as long as your hitting ring not tank youll be fine your meant to replace this once its heen removed anyway

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'll keep beating and let you know
