Can my Volvo S40 dieing battery cause codes that 't actually

Customer Question

Can my Volvo S40 dieing battery cause codes for repair that don't actually need to be repaired? I also just got clutch and transmission replaced.

Yes if the battery is dying it will cause codes referring to the electrical system.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Would those codes referring to the electrical system include: ignition coils, catalytic converters, accelerator/throttle pedal? What other systems are there besides the electrical system? Is the battery checked when a multipoint inspection is performed?
