Customer Question

I put the key in my 2010 xc60 AWD and it is appears dead, but had put it into drive accidentally...warning lights were coming in, then everything faded as if the battery is dead. Just before the fade, it said to put in Park, but I already had.

My name is ***** ***** I am a Volvo dealership technician. This does sound like a dead battery. I would try a jump start and if it starts, replace the battery. Low battery voltage can cause all sorts of warning lights to come on due to low voltage in the system.
