Hello,It's a 2004 S40 2.4i.I have removed a lot of parts, I can't get to the screws.

Hello again,
Would these be the screws to remove the blower motor itself? (three screws that attach it towards the heater core)?
and did you remove:
- the air quality sensor (AQS)?
- the connector for the damper motor module (DMM) recirculation?
- the damper motor module (DMM) recirculation?
As these require removal (after the dashboard) to gain access to the screws.

I have to remove the heater core or just the plastic cover? Are the screws facing the passenger side or the driver side? ( a previous tech has said you can just cut the housing around to avoid removing the dash.)Even if I remove the plastic housing i would have to get the dash completely out, because the dash board covering the heating core. This has got to be the stupidest design ever.

Hello,
The cover needs removing, the screws should be facing passnger side.
It is tricky to get to, indeed.
