I have a 2008 S80 non-turbo. When i get down to a quarter

Customer Question

Hi. I have a 2008 S80 non-turbo. When i get down to a quarter of a tank of gas the service engine light comes on. If I fill it with gas then the service engine light goes off. I am guessing I got some bad gas somewhere along the way. Is there a fix without sending it into the shop? A gas additive or treatment maybe?

Is there a way you cab get the codes pulled out of the car, auto zone and advanced auto parts will do this free of service to read engine trouble codes.
Don't think it has to do with fuel but with the codes we can narrow this diwn. Thanks Doug
