This answer was rated:

I have a 2001 xc70. How do I change a headlight bulb? I can get to the wires in back by unscrewing the 4" cap behind the assembly, but how do I get the bulb out?

  • Twist off the cover
  • Pull off the bulb holder and bulb for the parking lamp
  • Pull off the connector
  • Release the spring clip by pressing inwards, to the left and folding downwards
  • Remove the bulb.

The diagram was very helpful. I was missing the part about the spring that holds the bulb in. I will attempt to change it tomorrow. Thank you.
