I just received a...

I just received a Panasonic DC-FZ80 while attempting to set time etc. I accidently hit the set button, how do I start this over?

Technician's Assistant: How long have you had your DC-FZ80?

I received it today.

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your Panasonic product?

I put in the language (/English) and began the date portion when I accidentally pressed the menu/set button.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Electronics Expert to know before I connect you?

Only that I wish to start over.

This camera has very detailed/ complicated menu and I'm trying to help you here

When menu screen shows up, do you see tabs/ pages on top of the menu screen that says Rec, Custom, Playback, Motion Picture and Setup?

Please press the Play button on the camera to get it in Play mode, doesn't matter is it has no memory card

Now press the menu button and check the options

No, we need to get into Setup option of the menu to reset the camera to start over

If you still have Clock Set option on the screen that means you're in Setup option of the menu (that I'm asking), go down the list and find RESET option to restore the camera to default settings

The camera should show following 3 options when select Reset

- Recording settings (except for [Face Recog.] and [Profile Setup] settings) and drive mode

- Recording settings ([Face Recog.] and [Profile Setup] settings)

- Setup/custom settings
