Hi, Pearl. I'm trying to download pictures and video from my DMC-ZS10 camera. Several months ago I had to reinstall Windows 10 onto my computer. What the tech did, with my OK, was install Windows 10 Pro not knowing most of the software programs I used would not work anymore. As I said, I was trying to download some pictures and video and my computer won't even recognize the camera that is plugged into a USB port on my desktop. After all that explanation, my question is, is there software that I should download? I looked through my folders and couldn't find any disks or info. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Technician's Assistant: Did you download all the necessary software to connect your camera to your computer (e.g. Canon EOS Utility)? Is your software the latest version?

That is what I'm asking you. What software should I download and where can I now get it? I can't find any disks in my files.

Hi,

First, your camera is made by Panasonic so the compatible software is listed on the page at the link below:

http://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/info/windows10.html

It will help to find the Panasonic Lumix disc that came with the camera. Otherwise, you can simply remove the memory card from the camera and use either a card slot that is part of the computer or an inexpensive USB SD reader, like the one at the link below and the photo files on the card will show as a removable in the "This Computer" folder. You can copy your photos to the computer hard drive from here.
