Plug in usb cord pics come up and then the screen shuts off before I can select all and import

Technician's Assistant: Are you experiencing the same issue in different shooting modes, or just one?

No issues taking photos and they uploaded to my wife's computer but her format is different than mine and I can't seem to be able to edit them on hers

Technician's Assistant: Has there been any damage to your camera recently (e.g. from dropping it or getting it wet)?

No

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Camera Expert to know before I connect you?

I elimated the possiblilites that it is the usb cable or the camera as they uploaded to my wife's computer think its an update and/or software issue

Have you been able to access the images from the camera on the computer?

When the camera is connected to the computer it should appear as an external drive.

If that does not happen, then try using a different USB cord.
