I have a eos...

I have a eos 80d camera with wi fi and have always been able to connect via wi fi with my I phone 7 + but when recently I switched to a 8+ I was having issues connecting to my camera to view photos and videos. It would show up on my phone and I would go through the steps, but now it is asking for the wi fi password ***** I never made a password. And can’t figure out what the password ***** be! Please help

Technician's Assistant: Did you download all the necessary software to connect your camera to your computer (e.g. Canon EOS Utility)? Is your software the latest version?

Let me check. I think I accidentally pushed forget network that is why it is giving me such grief.

Technician's Assistant: If you are using a USB cable, are you using the one that came with your camera or an aftermarket one?

I have only used wi fi on this to my phone never hooking to my computer

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Camera Expert to know before I connect you?

No i figured it out with another question platform! This just answer platform really makes you think that when giving them money they have a person ready to answer your question. kind of disappointed it took from 3:49 to 5:22 to finally get someone to ask if i still needed help! I really feel ripped off!!! Especially when the bot that took my concerne was telling me that there was someone there for immediate response, and it took this long to answer me at all!
