My LCD has gone blank, except for some blue and red virginal line and about 1/4 inch view at the top. EOs7D MK II

I left in the trunk of my car for about three hours nd it was pretty hot.

No. I have a photo safari to Africa coming up in about 30 and I desperately need my camera.

Good day Richard. I tried your suggestion twice, once with power switch left on during the cycle and once with it let off. It did not resolve my problem. For your information, I have taken more than 100 photos with good result since this problem occurred, I just have no ability to view them on my LCD, but more importantly, I have no way to view my settings. Any other ideas?

Take out the memory card please, then start it with no memory card.

Does the screen then come on?

Richard. I removed the memory stick, turned the camera on with no change. Then with the memory stick still out I did the remove battery, hold shutter button for one minute, wait five minutes,replace battery cycle. I have no change.

It is the LCD screen that has faulted, this now confirms it
