Getting error message on...

Getting error message on my panasonic lumix dmc-g7k camera...says “lens attachment failed. please see if the lens is attached correctly”. It seems to be on but message stays on

Can you remove the battery please then hold the shutter button down for 60 seconds then release.

Wait 5 minutes, put the battery back in and try to turn it on.

Ok, disconnect the lens and use an eraser to clean the copy contacts on the Lens and the camera.

Tell me if this clears the error please

Ok, there are only two causes for it, the Lens faulted or the camers Lens sensor

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the camera to have this replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
