Hi, I am trying to get to a tech for my Power Shot SX50 HS.

Technician's Assistant: How old is your PowerShot?

I bought it new in 2016.

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your PowerShot?

I bought a new USB cable as my old one had a bent end. I tried to reinstall the software using the disc but received the error that the device could not be found. I have tried going into pictures on my hp laptop which uses Windows 10. The funny thing is that it worked just once two days ago but now it is back to not recognizing the device.

I am currently out of the country as the response did take longer than expected. I would love to get some help but am not available again until January 16th when I return. I will be leaving the country again on January 18th. If someone can help me on either January 16th or 17th that would be great.
