I dropped my camera...

I dropped my camera - now the telephoto will not fully extend - I get a message "system error -(Zoom)

Technician's Assistant: Has there been any damage to your camera recently (e.g. from dropping or from dirt getting in the lens)?

Just this one time

Technician's Assistant: What kind of battery does your camera use? Have you tried taking out the battery and replacing it?

A Lumix panasonic battery - yes disconnected but it did not correct ptoblem
