I advise deleting a picture or two from the camera's memory, or from its memory card if that's where it is storing the pictures at present (or trying to store them.)

Exactly what to do depends upon whether the camera has a memory card in it - if it does, the first thing to try, really, is to put in a different memory card, and read the current memory card in a computer memory card reader to assess whether it is the memory card that is full - and of course, to copy what you want to preserve onto the computer, and delete some pictures or other files stored on the memory card to free up enough space to take pictures onto that card once more.
