I have put "card"...

I have put "card" from Sony handycam into my computer tower, so then how can I transfer video to either the computer or a disc.

Technician's Assistant: How old is your HandyCam?

Guessing at 15 yrs

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your HandyCam?

In the past have tried to transfer to VHS or DVD with TV, but think I would need another cable maybe. So now am trying this as saw the port for the card. I had thought a prompt would come up on computer that is just 3 yrs old, but not seeing anything.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Video Expert to know before I connect you?

I just put in my credit card info at the beginning of this session with charge of $5.00 then additional $31. So I don't know why I need to put it in again.
