Nikon coolpix p510 lens...

Nikon coolpix p510 lens error. I took the camera apart, found no debris around lens housing or external damage. Camera will not turn on due to lens error.

Technician's Assistant: Has there been any damage to your camera recently (e.g. from dropping or from dirt getting in the lens)?

No.

Technician's Assistant: What kind of battery does your camera use? Have you tried taking out the battery and replacing it?

Yes, removed battery, fully charged.

Unfortunately, this type of damage/error will require repair of the lens or a replacement.
