I have a panasonic...

I have a panasonic lumix dmc-fz50, a great camera, but it hasn't been used for years and the batteries do not charge. I live on Haida Gwaii an island approximately 80 miles from prince rupert bc. I will be going to vancouver island and vancouver later this month. help! i would like to take pictures of my grand children.

If the batteries have not been regularly charged and discharged then they will have lost their ability to store any charge.

The batteries will need to be replaced.
