Coolpix S570 camera is...

Coolpix S570 camera is not being recognized by computer- recently received as a gift (used) but always worked before

Technician's Assistant: Did you download all the necessary software to connect your camera to your computer (e.g. Canon EOS Utility)? Is your software the latest version?

I am trying that again...it is software suite...only one I have for camera

Technician's Assistant: If you are using a USB cable, are you using the one that came with your camera or an aftermarket one?

I AM NOT CERTAIN.. IT IS A KODAK MODEL AND THE CAMERA IS NIKON ?????? SEEMS TO FIT PROPERLY. i CANNOT TELL IF "SUITE" cd IS LOADING IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS BUT NO LONGER MAKING ANY TOWER SOUNDS AND NO NOTATION ON COMPUTER THAT ANYTHING IS HAPPENING

JUST ONDERED IF ANYTHING SPECIAL I SHOULD DO ON COMPUTER CHECKED ALL THE ON-OFF SETTINGS FOR CAMERA AND ALL ARE ON....

Kodak and Nikon are two different brands.

Are you installing the Kodak software or Nikon software?
