G’day, I have a...

G’day, I have a LUMIX DMC-TZ60 camera that refuses to turn on. I initially thought there may be a charging fault, as when I tried recharging the battery, the red light on the back of the camera stayed on for many hours (more than five hours. So I bought a new battery and independent charger. After charging the battery I tried again to turn the camera on. Again no response. The camera is less than two years old, I feel it should last well longer than this. Any help or thoughts on a remedy, please. Cheers
